Chicago has its cooling centers up and running—starting today, Tuesday, June 17!
Please share this info with the unhoused Chicagoans in your neighborhood, on the train, and on the busses.
Note: The homeless face huge challenges finding and accessing cooling centers—you can help by providing flyers—and one-day or other CTA passes to help the homeless travel.
Feel free to print the flyers and keep a couple of them handy so you can hand them to persons in need.

Note that “Cooling areas at the City's six community service centers are activated when the City’s emergency response plan is in place or as conditions warrant. When online, cooling centers operate from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Mondays – Fridays.”
